New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hand over appointment letters to about 70 thousand people for their employment through video conferencing on Tuesday. On this occasion, he will also address the people who got the appointment letters. Employment fairs will be organized on June 13 at 43 places across the country. These appointments are being made in various departments of the Central Government and State Governments.
Selected in these departments
According to the information, apart from the departments of the Central Government, the appointment is being done in the State Government and Union Territories. Selected newly appointed employees across the country have been selected in different departments of the government. It includes Department of Financial Services, Department of Posts, Department of School Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Atomic Energy, Ministry of Railways, Department of Audit and Accounts and Ministry of Home Affairs. . They will join after getting the appointment letter.
Newly recruited government employees are also getting an opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, where more than 400 e-learning courses are made available. These employees can connect with it from anywhere and through any device.
Appointment letter was given to 71 thousand people
Earlier on May 16, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given appointment letters to 71,000 people. In June last year, the Prime Minister had announced that in the next one and a half years, 10 lakh people would be given government jobs in mission mode. The Prime Minister himself reviewed the vacant posts in all government ministries and departments in June 2022, after which the decision to recruit was taken.
