Till then the interim relief to Jacqueline Fernandez will continue.Special Judge Shailendra Malik, who had earlier granted the pre-arrest protection to Ms Fernandez, said the order was not ready, adding that the court will deliver its order on Tuesday.

On Thursday, the Patiala House Court had reserved the verdict after hearing the regular bail application of Jacqueline Fernandez, a co-accused in the cheating and money laundering case of Rs 200 crore. A Delhi court on Friday pulled up the Enforcement Directorate for acting on select persons and asked why the agency had not arrested actress Jacqueline Fernandez despite a lookout circular being issued to her.

During the hearing on the previous day, the ED opposed the bail of Jacqueline and said that she can leave the country and run away. In fact, while presenting the argument against Jacqueline, the ED had said that the actress has no shortage of money, she can easily leave the country and run away. On which the court questioned the ED and asked that, if so, why the actress has not been arrested yet. Other accused are in jail, why the policy of action was adopted on selected people.

The court had taken cognizance of the chargesheet filed by the ED on August 31 and asked Fernandez to appear in the court. After which the court on September 26 granted interim bail to Jacqueline on a personal bond of Rs 50,000. Jacqueline is suspected of supporting Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Sukesh is facing a money laundering case of 200 crores. The talk of Jacqueline’s relationship with Mahathug Sukesh has also come to the fore.
