Chikkamagaluru: A Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader, Shashidhar, allegedly received death threats from some unidentified miscreants in the Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka.

He said that miscreants had abused him and threatened to kill him by scribbling threats on his car. On the car, there were notes written “Kill You” and “Jihadi.”

A police complaint has been filed at the Kadur police station. Further investigations are underway to detain the culprits.

This occurs two days after petrol bombs were thrown at an RSS official’s home in the Tamil Nadu district of Tambaram. Similar cases were observed recently  with criminals attacking RSS workers’ homes and offices in places like Salem and Kanyakumari.

In recent months, there have been more assaults on BJP and RSS functionaries after the massive nationwide raid on the Popular Front of India (PFI) by central agencies regarding terror links.
