Russia-Ukraine war: The Ukrainian army launched a massive drone attack targeting Crimea in the early hours of Friday. Ukraine has shot down more than 100 Russian drones. According to reports, Russia’s Defense Ministry has confirmed this.

According to reports, the drone attack caused power outages in the surrounding areas and also caused a fire in an oil refinery. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Ukraine has attacked 100 drones, which were grounded overnight. The attack came as Kiev launched a series of drone attacks overnight on the Crimea peninsula and Russia’s southern regions, one of the largest air strikes in the past few weeks.

Moscow’s Defense Ministry said Friday that Russia shot down more than 100 Ukrainian drones overnight in Crimea, south of the country, and in the Black Sea. 51 drones were destroyed in Crimea, 44 in the Krasnodar region, 6 in the Belgorod region, 6 in the Black Sea and one in the Kursk region, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Krasnodar Governor Veniamin said several fires were also involved in the drone’s destruction. However, everything was brought under control. The Governor of Sevastopol has also alerted people about the power supply in the city.
