She also slammed the wives of Russian soldiers who are encouraging them to go all out and rape Ukrainian women, according to Sky News.
The wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky remarked that sexual violence is being committed openly, as per plan, by the Russian invaders since the beginning of the war in February.
Sexual violence is a gruesome attack to put pressure on someone. “Victims during the war can’t be identified because nobody feels safe,” she said.
“Rape and sexual assault are being used just like war weapons; we see that the Russian servicemen never hesitate to talk about rape to their relatives; we have managed to capture their conversations,” she added.
“Unfortunately, the wives or Russian servicemen are inspiring them to go on and rape the Ukrainian women, and after that, don’t share with me, just don’t tell me’,” she claimed.
The first lady also claimed that it was a war crime and that all those involved should face harsh punishment.
