The Russian Defense Minister, Sergey Shoigu, had a telephone conversation with his Indian counterpart, Rajnath Singh, on Wednesday. The Russian minister showed concerns regarding the possible use of a “dirty bomb” by Ukraine, the Russian embassy in New Delhi tweeted.
On Sunday, Shoigu spoke with the NATO defence ministers many times on the same subject. Russia has claimed that Ukraine is preparing to use a radioactive “dirty bomb,” but Ukraine and its Western allies have refuted this claim and expressed fear that Moscow is using it as an excuse to escalate the conflict.
