Congress leader Sachin Pilot once again gave an indication of a leadership change in Rajasthan.
Jaipur: Congress leader Sachin Pilot once again gave an indication of a leadership change in Rajasthan. He said on Tuesday that the ball is now in the court of the party’s high command regarding new leadership in the state.
Pilot made this remark as assembly elections in the desert state are to take place later this year.
“The high command is aware of the issue of leaders who came as a hurdle in the Congress-Legislative Party meeting in September.” “It is now on the party to take action against them,” Pilot said.
Speaking amid upcoming state assembly polls, Sachin Pilot said, “Elections are likely to take place soon in the state.” Party leaders have to come together on one platform and work together if the Congress has to retain Rajasthan for a second consecutive term.
The Congress leader spoke about the recent paper leak in Rajasthan and said, “I have spoken about issues pertaining to governance in Rajasthan.” If the masterminds are the big fish and have a high approach, then nets should be thrown to them and they should be caught.
Pilot slams BJP
Pilot lashed out at the BJP on Monday and said it has failed to deliver on the promise that was made to farmers, rather putting them under severe stress via demonetization and the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
He further added that the entire wealth of the nation is in the hands of a few people. However, the present government has made the country debt-ridden. Currently, the country is under debt of Rs 1.5 lakh crore.
