Abu Dhabi: The prestigious International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) is once again being staged after a two-year lull amidst the deadly Covid-19 pandemic. The much-awaited film award fiesta will continue for two days, June 3 and 4. Celebrities have arrived at Etihad Arena, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi to adorn the atmosphere.
An IIFA Weekend Press Conference was held on June 2, which was attended by several well-known faces of Bollywood, such as Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Maniesh Paul, Shahid Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, and so on. Salman was seen in a sombre mood after a funny video of the conference was unveiled.
Salman Khan upset with Riteish Deshmukh
While the press conference was going on, Riteish Deshmukh lavished a heap of praise on Maniesh Paul for his hosting skills and said, “Maniesh, I just want to say that you have a wonderful skill for hosting.” After this, Salman Khan, who was also sharing the stage with these celebs, was not happy with Riteish’s comment and said something which isn’t audible.
Salman has been hosting Big Boss for many years. IIFA 2022 is also being hosted by him. Ritesh then went to Salman and said sorry, and then laughter broke out between the two.
IIFA 2022 Itinerary
Salman Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh and Maniesh Paul are set to host the main IIFA event on June 4. Farah Khan and Aparshakti Khurana, on the other hand, are in charge of hosting the IIFA Rocks event on June 3.The award show is expected to be telecast live on the Colors channel, but no official announcement has been made yet.
The main IIFA 2022 is expected to be full of colour and film celebrities would like to give their best possible performance on the prestigious stage to steal the show and win the hearts of the audience.
The performer’s line-up includes Abhishek Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Kartik Aaryan, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Divya Khosla Kumar, and Nora Fatehi. IIFA Rocks performers will be Devi Sri Prasad, Tanishk Bagchi, Guru Randhawa, Honey Singh, Neha Kakkar, Dhvani Bhanushali, Zahrah S Khan, Dhvani Bhanushali, Asees Kaur, and Ash King.
