Today Ram, 21, has been taken into custody and will be brought to Mumbai.
Police said the accused had also sent an email to the father of slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala, threatening to kill him.
Bandra Police has booked three men – gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar and Rohit – under sections 120-B, 506(2) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for allegedly sending a threat email to Salman Khan’s office.
