At least 25 passengers were injured and four are said to be in critical condition when a Uncontrollable private bus plunges from a bridge on the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar-Jalna highway in Maharashtra's Jalna district.
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Tragic strikes when a private bus full with passengers skids off the bridge. Around 25 passengers were injured and four are said to be in critical condition. This incident occurred on the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar-Jalna highway in Maharashtra’s Jalna district. According to the police, the accident happened around 3 am on highway when the bus was headed to Nagpur from Pune. The injured were rushed to the district hospital and four of them are stated to be critical.
According to officials, bus lost control and plunges off the bridge which leaves 25 injured. The accident took place after the driver became uncontrollable when the bus was crossing a flyover at Matrewadi fork on the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar-Jalna Highway.
The injured have been shifted to the District General Hospital. The information has come to light that the bus involved in the accident belongs to Pooja Travels Company. According to the information received, this bus was heading towards Nagpur from Pune.
The bus was in Badnapur around midnight on 26th September when the driver lost control of the bus and the bus fell directly from the roadside bridge. This incident took place near the bridge on the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar-Jalna highway near Maatrewadi Phata.
After getting information about this accident, Badnapur and Jalna police rushed to the spot. After that, the injured were admitted to the District General Hospital for treatment. 25 passengers were injured and four were seriously injured. Police probe into the matter is underway.
