Mumbai: Former NCB officer and IRS officer Sameer Wankhede has received death threats through social media. Wankhede has informed the Mumbai Police about this. Wankhede has asked Mumbai Police to investigate into the complaint given.
He told Mumbai Police that he had received death threats through social media. In his complaint, the former zonal director of NCB told the Mumbai Police that the account through which the complaint was given was created on August 14 itself. According to Wankhede, a person named Aman has written threatening that you do not know what has been done, it will have to be accounted for. Along with this, wrote to him that he will finish you.
After receiving threats from social media, Sameer Wankhede contacted Goregaon Police Station in Mumbai. The police has recorded the statement of Sameer Wankhede in this case. Recently, Sameer Wankhede got a clean chit from the Cast Scrutiny Committee in the matter of caste certificate. The Cast Scrutiny Committee, in a 91-page order, rejected the argument that Wankhede was a Muslim by birth.
