New Delhi, India: According to a teaser from Samsung, the Galaxy M53 5G will be released in India on April 22. Samsung’s latest 5G phone was unveiled to the world earlier this month. It sports a 108-megapixel main rear camera and a 120Hz Super AMOLED+ display. The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G’s hole-punch display enables for 25W quick charging. The phone’s replacement is the Galaxy M52 5G, which debuted in India last year and features triple rear cameras and a 120Hz display.
Samsung has disclosed the launch date for the Galaxy M53 5G in India via a webpage. Amazon has also created a one-of-a-kind web page to promote the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G’s arrival in India. The launch is set for April 22 at 12 p.m., according to official paperwork on both Samsung India’s website and Amazon (noon).
The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G’s pricing in India has yet to be released. It is likely to cost around the same as the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G. Last year’s model cost Rs. 29,999 for the base 6GB RAM/128GB storage configuration and Rs. 31,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage configuration.
Samsung revealed earlier this month that the Galaxy M53 5G will be available in a 6GB + 128GB configuration, with more variants on the way.
On top of One UI 4.1, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G is rumoured to run Android 12. It sports a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Infinity-O Super AMOLED+ display with a 120Hz peak refresh rate. The phone is powered by an octa-core SoC that has yet to be revealed. On the rear of the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G, there are four cameras: a 108-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
For selfies and video chats, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G will accept a microSD card for storage expansion (up to 1TB).
