New Delhi: Samsung’s Galaxy S21 Fan Edition is likely to hit the market soon this year after the immense success of its S20 FE, which was considered as one of the good handsets in the market and a value for money proposition by critics on the web. From the looks of it, the Galaxy S21 FE is supposed to have most of the Galaxy S20 goodness at a non-flagship price tag. But this time, the device has showed up in renders, thanks to a tipster.
The tipster has posted quite a few renders of the Galaxy S21 FE on his Voice.com post, which make it clear that it will have the same curvy rear camera design as the Galaxy S21 series. The device looks a lot like the Galaxy S21 or the Galaxy S21+. On the front panel, there is a flat AMOLED panel with a 6.4 inches diagonal and a round hole for the front camera in the center of the upper part of the screen. The resolution should be FullHD+, and the refresh rate should be 120 Hz.
We can see three cameras at the back and a single punch hole (Infinity-O) on the display. It has been suggested that the Galaxy S21 FE may have a ‘Glastic’ back panel, shiny metal frame and dimensions 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9mm (9.3 mm taking into account the protrusion of the main camera). The rear camera accommodates three image sensors, and the LED flash is available outside of it.
The smartphone should expect a Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 chip, 6/8 GB of RAM and 25W fast charging.
As for the specs, the unannounced handset is supposed to feature 6.4-inch flat display. Nothing more has been mentioned. However, previous rumours claim the handset to sport a 32-megapixel front-facing camera and may come in Light Green colour variant. The one shown by the tipster is also in navy Blue colour model. Other leaked features of the phone are 128GB and 256GB storage options and Android 11 out-of-the-box.
It is to be mentioned that the Galaxy S20 FE 5G costs ₹47,999 while the 4G model costs ₹44,999.
The Galaxy S21 FE is expected to be launched in the summer and, most likely, this will happen in August as last year the Samsung promised to make the Galaxy FE program annual.
