New Delhi: A new twist has came to fore in connection with the veteran actor Satish Kaushik’s death. Saanvi Malu, wife of farm house owner Vikas Malu, on Saturday made serious allegations against her own husband. Saanvi Malu has alleged that there was a long-standing dispute between Vikas Malu and Satish Kaushik regarding money transactions. There was also a fight between the two in Dubai.
After the quarrel, Vikas had also talked about the suspicious death of Satish. Suspecting her own husband, Saanvi has given a complaint to the Delhi Police to investigate the matter. Saanvi has sent this complaint through e-mail. However, Delhi Police has not yet confirmed the receipt of the complaint.
There was a dispute over Rs 15 crore
Saanvi Malu has alleged that Satish Kaushik used to visit her house continuously. Satish Kaushik had given her husband Vikas Malu about Rs 15 crore to invest. However, Vikas did not invest this money. One day there was a fight between Vikas and Satish in Dubai regarding this. Saanvi alleged that she was present during that time. In the midst of a quarrel, Satish asked for his money back. Vikas had talked about coming to India and giving money. But in private, Vikas had told him that he was not going to give any money.
There was talk of giving an overdose of blue pills
Saanvi Malu has alleged that Vikas had told her that one day he would call a Russian girl and give her an overdose of Blue Pills. Saanvi says that now Vikas’s words have come true. In such a situation, there should be a thorough investigation into the death of Satish Kaushik. Saanvi has alleged that there used to be parties at his farm house often. Drugs and other intoxicants used to come at the farm house. Not only this, girls also used to come there. Saanvi told that he has also given a complaint to the police through e-mail.
However, in the midst of all this, the Delhi Police says that during the interrogation, nothing suspicious or objectionable was found at the spot or from the room of the deceased. Police say that some medicines have been recovered from the room. Police said all eyewitnesses have been questioned.
Statements of all concerned have been recorded. Police also informed that CCTV footage from the spot has been seized. These CCTV footage are being examined. It may also be mentioned here that a board of doctors at DDU Hospital had conducted the post-mortem of Satish Kaushik’s body on Thursday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-West) Rajeev Kumar said the postmortem report stated that the preliminary cause of death was heart attack due to blockage of a coronary artery. Death appears to be natural. Inquiries so far have revealed that Satish Kaushik along with his manager Santosh Rai had come to Delhi at around 10 am on Wednesday.
He was staying at his friend Vikas Malu’s house in Bijwasan. Satish Kaushik’s manager says that the actor played Holi till 3 pm. There was no party that evening or night.
The police officer said that the manager says that Kaushik had eaten food at around nine o’clock on the night of the incident. After that went for a walk. Satish Kaushik had gone to his room after a walk. After this he also saw some ‘clips’ of the films. Sources quoted a police officer as saying that Kaushik had called his manager at around 12 o’clock in the night. The manager was staying in the next room.
Satish Kaushik had complained of uneasiness and chest pain. After this, Satish Kaushik was hurriedly taken to Fortis Hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
However, Delhi Police’s Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-West) Rajeev Kumar also says that the final conclusion will be reached only after the histopathology study reports of Kaushik’s heart and blood FSL. The police also told that they are in touch with Kaushik’s family.
As of now, Kaushik’s family members have not raised any doubts. Police is looking into this case under section 174 of CrPC. Satish Kaushik is survived by daughter Vanshika and wife Shashi. Now a new twist has come in this case with the statement of Saanvi Malu. It will be a matter to be seen how the police see the statement of Saanvi Malu.
