New Delhi: During the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab’s Hoshiarpur, there was a major lapse in the security of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. In fact, a person broke the security cordon and hugged Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. After which the workers grabbed that person and dragged him. The video of this incident has also surfaced on social media. In the video shared online, it is clearly visible that Rahul is moving ahead with his caravan, but in the meantime a man wearing a hoodie comes and hugs him.

As soon as Rahul hugs, the rest of the workers immediately grab him and pull him away. After this, the Congress workers made a strong cordon of security around Rahul, so that no unknown person would come near him again. Let us tell you that a few days ago, questions have also been raised regarding the security of Rahul. On this issue, the Congress leader has surrounded the Bharatiya Janata Party as well. Meanwhile, now again a major lapse in Rahul’s security has come to the fore.

This comes weeks after the Congress accused the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), tasked with providing security to Gandhi, of major lapses during the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’.

It is to be noted that the Punjab leg of the Congress’ Kanyakumari to Kashmir march began last week from Sirhind in Fatehgarh Sahib.

Senior Congress leaders, including party’s Punjab chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, Harish Chaudhary and Raj Kumar Chabbewal, were seen accompanying Gandhi during the yatra that will halt for the night at Mukerian.

Bharat Jodo Yatra is about to reach Kashmir
Bharat Jodo Yatra is going to reach Kashmir soon. Agencies are already on alert regarding the security of Rahul Gandhi regarding this. Let us tell you that the Bharat Jodo Yatra will reach Jammu and Kashmir on January 19. Security agencies have advised Rahul Gandhi not to walk at some places during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Kashmir. The official said a comprehensive security review is still underway with the details of their overnight halts being worked out.

The yatra has so far covered Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
