Former Kerala Minister and senior Janata Dal leader Prof.N.M. Joseph passed away on Tuesday.
Kerala: Former Kerala Minister and senior Janata Dal leader Prof.N.M. Joseph passed away on Tuesday.Family sources gave this information. He was 79 years old. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has condoled the death of Joseph.
Joseph was the state’s Forest Minister from 1987 to 1991. He was also Professor of Economics at Pala St. Thomas College.Joseph was also the state president of the Janata Dal and he also worked as its national vice-president. His last rites will be performed on Wednesday.
The Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan also shared condolences. Joseph had earlier published an autobiography “Ariyapedatha edukal”.

Joseph is survived by wife Moly, children Anish Joseph and Anitha.Funeral at Pala Arunapuram St Thomas Church at 4 pm on Tuesday.
