Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' gets a fantastic start. Film has already sold 1.17 lakh tickets among the three national theatre chains. The film is releasing in theaters on January 25.
New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ is going to release in theaters on January 25. Advance booking of tickets for the film has started from January 19. The craze of Shahrukh Khan’s fans was seen on the very first day. Despite just being present in a limited number of locations, the movie has already sold 1.17 lakh tickets among the three national theatre chains.
A week ahead of the film’s eagerly awaited theatrical premiere, advance bookings officially open from today. Film critic and market analyst Taran Adarsh reports that the movie has already sold 1,17,000 advance tickets. He stated in a recent tweet that PVR has sold 51,000 tickets, INOX has sold 38,500 tickets, and Cinepolis has sold 27,500 tickets. The data, according to Adarsh, appear even before full-fledged advance booking starts.

Shah Rukh Khan is going to be seen on the big screen after four years with this film. According to the sources, Pathan can do business of Rs 39 crore and Rs 41 crore on the first day of its release. However, even if this film opens with 40 crores, even then this film will not be able to compete with Shah Rukh Khan’s big opener film ‘Happy New Year’. This film was the biggest opener of Shahrukh, which earned 44 crores on the first day.
Although ‘Pathaan’ will do more business than other Shah Rukh Khan films like ‘Chennai Express’ (22.12 crores), ‘Dilwale’ (21 crores) and Raees (20.42 crores) on the first day. Let us tell you that Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in the film ‘Zero’ in the year 2018 before this film. The SRK fan group SRK Universe is hosting screenings of Pathaan on its opening day in more than 200 places throughout India.

Directed by Sidharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj films, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in ‘Pathaan’, the first major release of 2023. The movie will be shown in theatres in three different languages: Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
