New Delhi: ‘Pathaan’, directed by Siddharth Anand, has created history in just 12 days. Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan continues breaking records at box office. The film is on a rampage mode not just in India but worldwide, too. It has now surpassed the Rs 800-crore mark globally, and Rs 500-crore in India. Even then, the film’s collection doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

Action-thriller Pathaan, which released on January 25, is running a riot at the box office. Also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, the film took a bumper opening at the box office and it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. During the weekend, the film did extremely well and successfully crossed the Rs 400-crore mark in India. With this, the film’s business has surpassed that of Aamir Khan’s Dangal, making it an all-time no. 1 Hindi movie.
According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, Pathaan has now crossed the Rs 800-crore mark worldwide. It’s next milestone would be reaching the Rs 900-crore mark. Meanwhile, in India, the film grossed Rs 400 crore nett. Ramesh Bala’s tweet read, “#Pathaan clearing ₹ 500 Crs gross in India and ₹ 800 Crs globally at the end of 2nd Sunday (sic).”

Pathaan’s Tamil and Telugu versions brought in 1 crore in ticket sales on Sunday, taking the total collected by the dubs to ₹ 15.40 crore. See the breakup here:

On Sunday evening, Taran Adarsh reported that Pathaan was set to make the fastest ₹ 400 crore in Hindi film history. The Hindi dubs of Baahubali: The Conclusion and KGF: Chapter 2 – now in second and third spots – crossed the 400 mark on Day 15 and Day 23, respectively.

Pathaan overtook the lifetime collection at the domestic box office of Aamir Khan’s Dangal last week and is now just behind the Hindi versions of Baahubali: The Conclusion and KGF: Chapter 2.

Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, was made available on January 25 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and English. John Abraham and Deepika Padukone both play significant parts in the movie. Additionally playing significant roles in the movie are Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia. After Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, and War, the movie is the fourth entry in the YRF spy universe. Salman Khan makes an explosive cameo in the movie as well.
