Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor’s much awaited film ‘Shamshera’ hit the silver screens today. It has got a flying start as cinegoers like to watch this film at the earliest. The movie has been occupying the second spot as far as advance bookings are concerned in 2022.
It is expected that the total collection of ‘Shamshera” will be nearly 4 crore in advance booking, as per the report by Boxofficeindia. The advance booking of the film got underway with a promising note, but gradually lost momentum, but once again picked up speed on Thursday before its release. In fact, the movie has failed to touch the expected 5 crore mark. Kartik Aaryan’s film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ is still holding the record for the highest advance booking record in the year 2022. Advance bookings for the film totaled Rs 7.10 crore.
Speaking about sharing the frame with Sanjay Dutt, Rabir Kapoor said, “Since the beginning of my career, I used to work out in Sanju Sir’s gym.” He would come downstairs and just look at me lifting weights.
