Mumbai: Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray has been in the limelight for his fierce comments against the rebel Sena leaders. He once again lashed out heavily at rebel Sena MLAs on Friday, saying they would have to move in Maharashtra as traitors. He further added that traitors must be repeated with the same words.
While Aaditya was delivering his speech as part of his Nishta Yatra, a bizarre incident took place. The moment azaan, or (prayer of call), got underway on the loudspeaker, he stopped delivering his speech till the end of azaan. His video went viral on social media.
The incident occurred when Aaditya was addressing a rally in rebel MLA Dilip Lande’s constituency of Chandivli. “Let’s wait for two minutes for them,” Aaditya said.
Aaditya’s video made it clear that he was busy addressing the crowd when the azaan started. He paused his voice for two minutes, till the end of the azaan, and then started his speech again. At present, he has a busy schedule visiting rebel MLAs’ constituencies and addressing Sena workers to gain support.
The azaan row hit the headlines across the country a couple of months ago. Several hardliners were against the use of loudspeakers during the azaan.
MNS chief Raj Thackeray made a lot of hue and cry regarding azaan through loudspeakers in Mumbai ,has asked his supporters to chant Hanuman Chalisa outside mosques on May 4, this year.
