Hyderabad: In a hostel near Hyderabad, some students beat up another law student living there, and allegedly forced them to raise religious slogans. A video of this incident has gone viral.

It can be seen in the video that Himank Bansal, a third year student at ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education or IFHE in Hyderabad, was slapped, kicked and his hands were also twisted. The video shows the accused thrashing her, and she can be heard raising slogans of ‘Jai Mata Di’ and ‘Allah-o-Akbar’.
“We want to fix his ideology. We will beat him into coma and he will remember a whole new world,” an accused said. One of them snatched his wallet and told another, “Take all the money you want.”
A total of 12 students have been booked for attempt to murder in this case, out of which eight have been detained. The remaining four are on the run.. All have been suspended from business school.
The incident is of November 1, and before that Himank Bansal had made comments against Prophet Mohammad on social media. Police say that a case has been registered on the basis of Himank’s complaint. According to Himank’s complaint, he was physically and sexually assaulted.
In his complaint, Himank Bansal has alleged that the students had threatened to thrash him to death if he did not remove his trousers.
Himank also tweeted about the incident, in which he called Telangana Minister K.T. Rama Rao and Cyberabad Police Commissioner have also been tagged.
The business school said in a statement that “the school has zero tolerance for such unwanted incidents…” Gone…”
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has demanded a detailed inquiry into the incident and K.C. Criticized the Telangana government led by Chandrasekhar Rao for not taking immediate action. BJP leader Rachna Reddy told sources, “It is not about religion… In fact, it is pseudo-secularism, where even such incidents are ignored…”
