Shocking: UP man went for brother’s last rite who was killed after snakebite, gets bitten too, dies

Balrampur: A surprising case has come to light in Uttar Pradesh. A young man who came here to attend the funeral of a brother was bitten by a snake. After which he died. Surprisingly, his brother also died due to snake bite. In this way, in no time the life of both the brothers ended due to snake bite. The case is of Balrampur in UP.

Police have informed that Govind Mishra had attended the funeral of his brother Arvind Mishra. He was involved in the last actions in Bhawanipur village here. Circle Officer Radha Raman Singh told that his brother Arvind Mishra died on Tuesday due to snake bite.

Singh said, ‘Govind Mishra was bitten by a snake during his sleep at night. One of his relatives Chandrashekhar Pandey was also bitten by the snake. After which he was immediately taken to the hospital. Where Govind was told dead. At the same time, Pandey’s condition remains critical. Both of them were in the same house. Both Govind Mishra and Chandrashekhar Pandey had come from Ludhiana to attend the funeral of Arvind Mishra.

Police Officer Radha Raman Singh said that on August 2, Arvind Mishra was bitten by a snake and was taken to the district hospital. From where Mishra was referred to Bahraich. He died in Bahraich. He told that his younger brother Govind Mishra and his relative Chandshekhar Pandey, who arrived here on Wednesday from Ludhiana to attend the last rites of Arvind Mishra, stayed at home after the last rites.

Singh told that while sleeping on Wednesday night, the poisonous snake also bitten Govind Mishra and Chandshekhar Pandey. Both of them were taken to the hospital after their health deteriorated, where Govind Mishra died. The body of Govind Mishra has been sent for post-mortem while Chandrashekhar Pandey’s condition is critical.

On getting information about the incident, Chief Medical Officer and Forest Department officials reached the spot and took stock of the situation. On getting information about the incident, regional MLA Kailash Nath Shukla met the relatives of the deceased and consoled them and assured them of financial support from the government.
