A cruel husband pushed his wife in front of speeding train. The incident is from Vasai railway station in Palghar district. A man allegedly killed his wife by pushing her in front of a moving train and has fled with their children. Accused has been arrested.
Mumbai: In a spine chilling footage shows a ruthless husband pushed his wife before speeding train at Vasai Road railway station in Palghar district of Maharashtra. She crushed to death. According to the Railway Police, the incident happened around 4 am. The incident was captured in the CCTV footage of the railways. The Vasai Railway Police has arrested the accused husband by registering a case under section 302 of IPC.

Seeing the train approaching, he wakes up his wife sleeping with the children. As the train comes closer, the young man throws his wife on the track. The woman dies due to the train coming down. The accused youth runs away from the platform with his two children and belongings.
Railway Assistant Commissioner of Police Bhajirao Mahajan said that a woman has died after being hit by the Avadh Express. The woman was thrown in front of the train by her husband. After killing his wife, the young man has fled with the children.
The man was later spotted boarding a train to Dadar in Mumbai and from there to Kalyan in Thane. The police nabbed him late Monday night from Thane’s Bhiwandi town, the official said. The official said a preliminary probe revealed the woman had gone out for two days with a friend of her husband which annoyed him and both had a quarrel over it.
The preliminary investigation also indicated that the man doubted his wife’s character and this led to the incident, he said. A case was registered against the man under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code, the official said. Deputy Commissioner of Police Railway Sandeep Bajibakhre lauded the police team which nabbed the accused.
