Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust Formally Invites Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to Ram Temple Consecration Ceremony

Senior officials of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust recently extended a formal invitation to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the upcoming consecration ceremony of the Ram temple. The invitation was presented during a meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence, resulting in an expression of joy from Yogi Adityanath on social media.

Taking to social media, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his gratitude to the officials of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, including Swami Govinddev Giri Ji Maharaj, Shri Champat Rai Ji, and Shri Rajendra Pankaj Ji. He shared his happiness, stating, “Today, life has become truly blessed. My heart is filled with happiness. I extend my gratitude to the respected officials for inviting me to the consecration ceremony of the new idol of Lord Shri Ram Lalla Sarkar in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Jai Jai Sitaram!”

The association of Shri Gorakshpeeth with the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yajna has been continuous, with a historical background dating back to the British colonial period. Mahant Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj played a crucial role during that time, raising the issue of the Shri Ram Temple. Following his demise, Mahant Avaidyanath Ji Maharaj took up his Gurudev’s resolve, leading a decisive struggle for the construction of the Shri Ram Temple. In 1984, Mahant Avaidyanath Ji Maharaj was unanimously elected as the president of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yajna Committee when it was formed in Valmiki Bhawan, Ayodhya.

The consecration ceremony, scheduled for Paush Shukla Dwadashi, Vikram Samvat 2080 (January 22, 2024), will witness the presence of over 4,000 saints from across the country and 2,500 eminent personalities. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s blessings will accompany this much-anticipated event, deeply connecting the sentiments of Sanatan believers globally to this special program.
