Sidhi Bus Accident : Truck hit 3 buses, 14 died, CM Shivraj announced compensation

A truck hit three buses in MP's Sidhi district. 14 people died in this horrific road accident. More than 50 people have been injured in the accident. Chief Minister Shivraj reached the spot at night itself and inquired about the condition of the injured.

Sidhi Bus Accident : A horrific road accident took place last night in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh. The speeding truck hit three buses hard. 14 people died in this accident, Rewa SP Mukesh Srivastava told that a total of 50 people were injured. The condition of these 15-20 people is critical. Many leaders including Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have expressed grief over this accident. Chief Minister Shivraj reached the spot at night itself and inquired about the condition of the injured. After this, CM Shivraj has announced compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the families of those who died in the accident, Rs 2 lakh to the seriously injured and Rs 1 lakh to the minorly injured. He said that the relatives of the deceased would be given government jobs according to their merit.

According to the information, the accident happened when three buses reached Mohania Tunnel at around 9.15 pm and were hit by a speeding truck. Due to the collision, two buses fell into the ditch and one bus overturned on the same road. It is being told that the wheel of the speeding truck burst, due to which it went uncontrolled and collided with the buses. These three buses were returning from the program of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Satna.

While expressing grief, former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh has attacked the Shivraj government. He has demanded a compensation of Rs 50 lakh each to the families of the deceased. Also demanded financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the injured.
