Chandigarh: The opposition has targeted the controversial statement given by Malvinder Singh Mali, advisor to Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu, regarding Kashmir and demanded action against him. After accusing Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh of spreading communal tension, Mali has described Kashmir as a separate country.

Indo-Pak illegally occupied Kashmir: Mali

Sidhu’s advisor Malvinder Singh Mali has given this controversial statement through a post on Facebook. He wrote on Facebook account, ‘Kashmir is the country of the people of Kashmiri, according to the agreement reached at the time of leaving India in 1947 and in violation of the decision of the UNO, the country of Kashmir was divided into two pieces, which was occupied by Pakistan and India. Already done.’

Will Rahul Gandhi take action against Sidhu: Majithia

Politics has heated up on this statement of Malvinder Singh Mali and the opposition has questioned Rahul Gandhi, calling it an insult to the martyr family. Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia said, ‘This statement of Malvinder Singh Mali is an insult to the families of the martyrs.

BJP demands action against Mali

Criticizing the statement of Malvinder Singh Mali, BJP leader Vineet Joshi has demanded action against him. He said, ‘This shows where these people are taking Punjab. Many people have given martyrdom for Kashmir. His statement is an insult to the families of the martyrs. Let us inform that there has been no response from Sidhu to Mali’s tweet, while Punjab government spokesperson and a close aide of CM Amarinder, Rajkumar Varka has advised Mali not to spread hatred.
