New Delhi: A senior Delhi Police official claimed that a Sikkim Police officer posted in the capital on Monday opened fire on three of his colleagues at Rohini, killing all of them. The incident took place following a brawl among the colleagues.
“The Sikkim Police officer was stationed at the Haiderpur water treatment facility.” He shot three of his coworkers. Out of those three, two died on the spot as a result of their wounds, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police Rohini Pranav Tayal.
The third member of the Sikkim Police was critically injured and taken to Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital at Rohini, where he was later declared dead.
The police have arrested the accused jawan. An investigation is going on to find the exact cause of the brawl and firing.
