Singapore bound flight takes off before time leaving behind 35 passengers at Amritsar airport

A major negligence of Scoot Airlines going from Amritsar to Singapore has come to fore. A plane took off before the scheduled time leaving 35 passengers at the airport. After which the passengers created a ruckus at the airport.

Amritsar: A plane took off before the scheduled time leaving 35 passengers at Amritsar airport. After which the passengers created a ruckus at the airport. Actually flight was going from Amritsar to Singapore. The airline has said in its clarification that passengers were informed about the change in timings by sending mails.

The flight of Scoot Airline Company was to leave for Singapore from Amritsar at 7.55 pm, but the flight took off five hours earlier at 3 pm, due to which 35 passengers remained at the airport. On behalf of the airline, he was told that an e-mail was sent to all the passengers regarding the rescheduling of the flight.

Let us tell you that earlier on January 10, a flight of Go First took off leaving more than 50 passengers. When the flight took off, these passengers were boarding the bus on the runway. But the flight left them and took off. This was the case of GoFirst flight G8116 going from Bengaluru to Delhi, when it left Bengaluru airport at 6.30 am on Monday.

Regarding this negligence, the DGCA sought an explanation from GoFirst as to why it left around 50 passengers on the tarmac in the bus. DGCA gave two weeks time to the COO of the airline company to give this answer.

After the DGCA notice, the airline company GoFirst had apologized. GoFirst issued a statement saying that we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to passengers due to the inadvertent inspection in reconciliation of flight G8 116 from Bangalore to Delhi. Passengers were accommodated on alternate airlines to Delhi and other destinations.
