The video of the scuffle with Sonu Nigam is going viral on social media. It can be seen in the video that while getting down from the stage, some unknown people started fighting with Sonu Nigam and his friend. However, during this time the bodyguard came and saved Sonu and his friend.

Social media handle Sameet Thakkar tweeted, “Singer Sonu Nigam was attacked by Uddhav Thackeray’s MLA Prakash Faterpekar and his goons at a music event in Chembur who raised their voice against Azaan loudspeakers. Although this attack has happened by him only, there is no confirmation about this.

According to media reports, Uddhav Thackeray faction’s MLA Prakash Fartepekar wanted to meet Sonu Nigam at the Chembur festival. When they were denied permission to meet the singer, a ruckus ensued and the MLA’s son and his bodyguards allegedly accosted the singer and his friend.

On the other hand, Joint CP Law and Order of Mumbai Police told a news channel that so far no one has been reported injured and no complaint has been registered. Sonu Nigam has come into the limelight after this news came to the fore. His video is going viral on social media. It has to be seen whether further information comes to the fore in this matter.
