Six dead in Andhra Pradesh road mishap

Andhra Pradesh: According to the information given by the police, in an incident that took place today in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur district where six people died in a truck-car crash.

The accident occurred on the Kurnool-Guntur highway between Bhiminenivari Palem and Medikonduru villages.

A SUV coming from Hyderabad to Guntur was hit by a truck coming from the opposite direction.

Five of the six occupants of the Bolero vehicle died on the spot while the sixth succumbed on way to the hospital.

Police said the bodies were shifted to a government-run hospital in Guntur for autopsy.

The deceased hailing from Guntur district have been identified as P. Venkatanarayana (47), M. Srinivasa Rao (33), S. Raguverndra Rao (57), D. Kiran (35), M. Raja Rao (47) and Subba Reddy (45).
