In Gujarat's Aravalli district, six people were killed and seven others were hurt when a car rammed into them as they were walking towards Ambaji, in Gujarat's Aravalli district.

New Delhi: In Gujarat’s Aravalli district, six people were killed and seven others were hurt when a car rammed into them as they were walking towards Ambaji, in Gujarat’s Aravalli district. The injured people have been taken to the hospital.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel declared a compensation amount of Rs 4 lakh for those who died in this horrible accident and Rs 50,000 for those injured. Besides this, he also expressed sympathy for the victims who died in the accident.

The death rate due to road accidents has been a major concern for the entire country. As reported in 2020, nearly 132 thousand people were the victims of road accidents. Road safety is crucial. There should be harsh laws and negligent driving must be stopped at any cost in combating fatalities on Indian roads.
