SL Thaosen and Anish Dayal appointed as new chiefs of CRPF and ITBP: Govt order

Senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers Sujoy Lal Thaosen and Anish Dayal Singh have been appointed as the new Director Generals of CRPF and ITBP respectively.

New Delhi: The Government of India has appointed the Director General of CRPF and ITBP. Senior IPS officer Sujoy Lal Thoussen will be the new Director General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). While the post of Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP Director General) will be handled by senior IPS officer Anish Dayal Singh.

According to the notice issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday, October 1, senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers Sujoy Lal Thaosen and Anish Dayal Singh were appointed as the new Director Generals of CRPF and ITBP respectively. Senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers Sujoy Lal Thaosen and Anish Dayal Singh have been appointed as the new Director Generals of CRPF and ITBP respectively.

Sujoy Lal Thoussen, a 1988 batch officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre, is currently working as the Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal. He is also holding the additional charge of Indo-Tibetan Border Police. Anish Dayal, a 1988 batch officer of Manipur cadre, is currently working as the Special Director in the Intelligence Department. Let us inform that on Friday, IPS officer Kuldeep Singh has retired from the post of CRPF.
