The earth is mainly made of four layers. Inner core, outer core, manal and crust. Crust and upper mantle core are called lithosphere. Now this 50 km thick layer is divided into many classes which are called tactonic plates. That is, the upper surface of the earth is made up of 7 tectonic plates. These plates are never stable, they are constantly moving, when these plates move towards each other, then there is a conflict between them. Sometimes these plates are broken. A large amount of energy is released due to their collision, which causes a stir in the area. Many times these shocks would have been of very low intensity, so they do not even feel. Whereas many times there are so much intensity, that the earth goes to the burst.
