She also said that the Centre was trying to show the sacrifices made by the Indian forces during the freedom struggle were low.
She stated, “The Indian National Congress is prepared to fight any attempt by this narcissist government to distort history and disparage noted leaders likeGandhi-Nehru-Azad-Patel”
Wishing the countrymen on the occasion of India’s 76th Independence Day, Sonia Gandhi said: “Over the last 75 years, remarkable Indian leaders have led the country on the path of growth in the fields of science, education, health, and information.” The visionary leaders of India have established an electoral system that is free, fair, and transparent.
