South Africa left no stone unturned today when they defeated Bangladesh by a huge margin of 104 runs. A tremendous all-round performance by the Proteas. They ousted their opponent in every department of the game. Rossouw was declared player of the match for scoring a polished hundred.

Nortje and Shamsi mesmerised the Bangladeshi batting, taking four and three wickets respectively.

In the last match against Zimbabwe, the Proteas were deprived of victory due to potential rain, but in today’s match against Bangladesh, South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first at the Sydney Cricket Ground. This match was very crucial for both sides to take two important points.

Opener Bavuma got out cheaply, but his fellow partner Quinton de Kock is in remarkable form, scoring 63 runs in just 38 deliveries. But the man who demolished the Bangladeshi attack was none other than Rossouw. He played a gem of an innings and completed a wonderful hundred, which will be remembered for a long time. His 109 in 56 balls helped the South African side to reach 205 in 20 overs.

The two Southpaws annihilated the Bangladeshi bowlers all over the SCG. They were clueless again, the two left-handers.

Chasing over 200 runs to surpass the South African score was a tough task.

All of the South African bowlers bowled with incredible line and length, never allowing the Asian side to free their arms. Nortje and Shamsi, the pace and spin duo  were unplayable and set the platform for an emphatic victory.
