According to statistics, Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathaan has earned Rs 70 crore on Sunday in India, while the film has earned more than Rs 500 crore worldwide. With this, the film has also entered the top-10 highest-grossing Hindi films of all time without even finishing its first week.
In India, the film has made ₹ 271 crore in five days with the Tamil and Telugu dubs adding ₹ 9.75 crore. Sunday’s ticket sales of ₹ 58.5 crore takes the Hindi version of Pathaan’s domestic earnings within shooting distance of the 300 crore mark. “Pathaan is a BO tsunami. Pathaan, is already the fastest Hindi film to hit the 250 crore mark, overtaking KGF: Chapter 2, Baahubali: The Conclusion, Dangal, Sanju and Tiger Zinda Hai. Before it released on January 25, Pathaan had sold 5.5 lakh tickets in advance bookings, second only to KGF: Chapter 2 in terms of Hindi and Hindi-dubbed films. It opened in over 100 countries on 8,000 screens – the highest of any Hindi film.
Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer film Pathaan is an action film, in which Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia are seen in important roles. On the other hand, King Khan is seen making a comeback on the big screen after four years from Pathaan. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand while the producer of the film is Aditya Chopra.
