Stellantis announces to lead Citroen, Jeep brands in India

Mumbai: Saurabh Vatsa, Nipun Mahajan are evaluated the new roles. Following the announcement of Roland Bouchara as the CEO and managing director of Stellantis in India in April, the automaker giant on Thursday announced key leadership appointments for its India operations. Saurabh Vats and Nipun J Mahajan will now be responsible for the Citroen brand and Jeep brand respectively in India. New Integrated Organization.

In his new role, Vats will be responsible for sales, marketing, after-sales, product planning and PR functions for Citroen in India, Stelantis, created by the merger of two global auto majors FCA and Groupe PSA.

An industry expert with over 25 years of experience, Vats joined PSA in 2018 as Senior Director – Marketing & Corporate Communications.

He has been instrumental in formulating and implementing a unique strategy for the launch of the Citroen brand and the C5 Aircross SUV in India.

For the Jeep brand, Mahajan will be responsible for sales, marketing, after sales, product planning and PR functions.

Both will report to the CEO and managing director of stellantis in India, Roland Bouchara

Bouchara said,”I am very happy to have both of them in our team in india. These appointments are a continuation of the seamless integration process that has been going on since the birth of Stellantis”.

Lastly, He added that both Vats and Mahajan bring together an array of stellar achievements and rich industry experience, which will greatly benefit the customers, partners and the entire group.
