STF foils big conspiracy in Bengal. Two terrorists of 'Al Qaeda' arrested in West Bengal, both were trying to carry out a major attack.

West Bengal: STF foils big conspiracy in Bengal. The Special Task Force (STF) of West Bengal Police arrested two suspected Al Qaeda terrorists from North 24 Parganas district on Wednesday night. Acting on a tip-off, the STF officials started a search on Wednesday night at Kharibari in the Government police station area of ​​North 24 Parganas and both were arrested for their alleged involvement with the terrorist organization, an official said.

According to the official, one of them has been identified as a resident of Gangarampur in Dakshin Dinajpur district, while the other is a resident of Arambagh in Hooghly district. Many documents have been found from them.

“After interrogating the two, the police have come to know that at least 17 other members of the AQIS are active in this region,” the officer said.

The arrested duo will be produced before a local court on Thursday, the officer added.

‘Al Qaeda’ is spreading propaganda on the Internet
According to intelligence sources, al-Qaeda has launched a massive propaganda campaign on the Internet to defeat the Islamic State. The organization is spreading the poison of Jihad through various websites.

Central Intelligence says that if those sites are identified and closed, then al-Qaeda opens a jihadist website under another name. More than 12 of them are in Bengali. Those websites are promoting the ideology of al-Qaeda by translating into Bengali the Arabic speeches of the organization’s top jihadist leaders.
