Stones pelted on Vande Bharat Express train in Telangana, window panes broken

Stones were pelted at Vande Bharat Express in Mahbubabad, Telangana. Due to this the glasses of the train were broken. Railway Police is engaged in identifying miscreants who pelted stones on the basis of CCTV footage.

Hyderabad: The incidents of stone pelting on Vande Bharat Express are not taking the name of stopping. This time the incident of stone pelting on Vande Bharat train has come to light in Mahbubabad, Telangana. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took stock. Railway officials say that the incident is being investigated.

According to information, unknown persons pelted stones at the Vande Bharat train in the suburb of Mahabubabad. The train was going from Secunderabad towards Visakhapatnam. During that time this incident happened. The glasses of the train were damaged due to stone pelting. The information of the incident was given to the police. After getting the information, the railway police reached the spot and investigated the track.

Rakesh, CPRO of South Central Railway said that the incident took place in the evening when the train was going from Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam. We are probing it from all angles. After the train reaches Vizag, Railway Police officials will take stock of the condition of the train.

Let us inform that earlier the incident of stone pelting on Vande Bharat train had come to light in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. After the incident, the Railway Police Force (RPF) had identified three stone-pelting suspects. Police had told that here some mischievous elements had pelted stones at the Vande Bharat train, due to which the windows of two coaches of the train were broken.

Officials had said that this train was going from Visakhapatnam railway station to Maripalem’s Coach Maintenance Center after completing the trial run. RPF had identified the suspects on the basis of CCTV footage. The local police, RPF cooperated in the investigation of this case.
