Vande Bharat Train Stone Pelting: The windows of two coaches of Vande Bharat train were broken in stone pelting. After completing the trial run, this train was going from Visakhapatnam railway station to the coach maintenance center at Maripalem.

New Delhi: The incidents of stone pelting on Vande Bharat Express are increasing continuously. This time, not in West Bengal but in Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh, stones have been pelted on the Vande Bharat train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was about to flag off this train on January 19. The windows of two coaches of the Vande Bharat train were broken in stone pelting by some mischievous elements. After completing the trial run, this train was going from Visakhapatnam railway station to the coach maintenance center at Maripalem.

PM Modi will flag off on January 19

On the other hand, after getting the information about the incident of stone pelting, the police immediately reached the spot and started the process of catching the people who pelted stones on the train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was about to flag off this train from Secunderabad railway station on January 19. This train will run between Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam. During this it will stop at Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada and Rajahmundry. RPF has registered a case and started investigation.

Stones were pelted on Vande Bharat train in Bihar as well
DRM Anoop Kumar said, ‘At 6:30 pm someone pelted stones at Vande Bharat train in Visakhapatnam, two window panes were completely shattered and they need to be replaced. This is very unfortunate. Please tell that earlier on January 3 and 4, stones were pelted on the Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express. The second incident took place in Bihar while the BJP and a section of the media claimed that the incident took place in West Bengal.

The Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express was inaugurated by Modi on 30 December. While three days later, unknown people pelted stones at the train, due to which the window panes were damaged. The stone-pelting triggered a blame-game between the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal. TMC had claimed that this statement has brought bad name to the state.
