New Delhi: Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR a while back. The epicenter of the earthquake is said to be in West Nepal, its intensity was measured at 5.8 on the reactor scale. According to the latest information received so far, the depth of the earthquake was 10 km below the ground. Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR at 2.30 pm and people are sharing videos of fans and household items shaking after the earthquake. So far no damage has been reported from the earthquake.

Giving information about the earthquake, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said, “An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale occurred in Nepal at 2:28 pm today.”
The tremors lasted for almost 10-15 seconds, forcing many people to rush out of their homes and offices in panic.
Residents of Delhi-NCR took to social media to share videos of ceiling fans and household objects shaking during the tremors that lasted less than a minute.
There have been no reports of damage caused by the earthquake so far.
