Khartoum: An Indian national, identified as Albert Augestine, succumbed to his injuries after getting hit by a stray bullet amid the ongoing Sudan clashes. The Indian Embassy in Sudan said that Albert Augustine, an Indian national, was shot dead on Saturday. An Indian citizen worked in a DAL group company. So far 56 people have died due to the violence in Sudan.
The Indian Embassy issued a statement saying, ‘It has been informed that Albert Augustine, an Indian citizen working at DAL Group Company in Sudan, was hit by a bullet. He succumbed to his injuries.’

The Indian Embassy said, ‘Notice to all Indians. Indians in Sudan are advised to exercise extreme caution and stay indoors in the wake of alleged firing and clashes. Stop exiting with immediate effect.’ Apart from this, the embassy asked people who are considering traveling to Sudan to postpone their plans.
