Gadar 2 vs OMG 2 BO Collection: Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' has crossed the 300 crore mark at the box office, while Akshay Kumar's OMG 2 is struggling to enter the 100 crore club.

Sunny Deol starrer ‘Gadar 2’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’ were the most awaited films of this year and they released together on August 11. While ‘Gadar 2’ is making new records at the box office from the very first day of its release, ‘OMG 2’ has lost its steam in front of Sunny Deol’s film. Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ is creating new records every day and has broken many records till now. This film is a sequel to ‘Gadar Ek Prem Katha’ which came in the year 2001 and it is getting tremendous response from the audience from the opening day. Seeing the pair of Tara and Sakeena once again on the screen, people are not feeling less than a treat. Along with this, this film is also earning a lot. Talking about the earnings of ‘Gadar 2’, it has made a grand collection of 284.63 crores in its first week. At the same time, the earnings figures of the 8th day of the release of this film have come.
According to the early trend report of Sacnilk, ‘Gadar 2’ has registered a decline of 16.24 per cent in its earnings on the 9th day. Despite the decline in earnings, the film has collected Rs 19.5 crore. With this, the total earnings of ‘Gadar 2’ for 9 days has now gone up to Rs 304.13 crore.
The second Friday collection of the Anil Sharma directorial has left behind Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan, Salman Khan’s Dangal, Yash’s blockbuster KGF 2, Aamir Khan’s PK and Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files.

Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’ has faced clash with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, due to which its earnings have also been greatly affected. Although this film of Akshay had printed a lot of notes on its opening weekend and Independence Day, but now this film is not able to stand in front of Gadar 2 storm. Pankaj Tripathi, Akshay Kumar and Yami Gautam starrer film’s collection is now registering a decline every day. Meanwhile, the initial figures of the 8th day’s earnings of ‘OMG 2’ have also come.
According to the report of Sacnilk, ‘OMG 2’ has collected 5.6 crores on the 8th day of its release. With this, the total earnings of 9 days of ‘OMG 2’ has now gone up to Rs 90.65 crore.
