Supreme Court in Patanjali Misleading Ads Case has reserved its decision on the contempt petition. Supreme Court has exempted Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna from personal appearance. The Supreme Court has also given time to Patanjali to file the affidavit. In this affidavit, Patanjali has to tell what steps it has taken to stop the misleading advertisements and withdraw those medicines. Whose licenses have been suspended.

The bench of Justice Hima Kohli and Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah, while hearing the petition of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) on May 7, said that if the advertisement of any product or service that affects people, If found to be misleading, celebrities and social media influencers should be held equally responsible for it. IMA has said in its petition that Patanjali made negative publicity against Covid vaccination and allopathy.
