Yadav made his debut in the shortest format of the game last year. Since then, he has always impressed with his sparkling batting and, in recent times, his bat has been blazing.

Suryakumar Yadav never minds the shuffle of his batting order. As an opener, he has proved his worth. Although he is a middle order batter, he can be promoted in the batting order.

He goes on the ground with the aim of giving 100 percent, which is the success mantra of Yadav. His stupendous batting helped the men in blue to notch up the third T20I by seven wickets and go ahead 2-1 in the five-match series.

The blistering knock of Yadav helped him inch closer to Pakistani skipper Babar Azam’s tally. Babar is holding the world No. 1 position with 818 points, while Yadav is not far away, holding the second spot with 816 points in his kitty, a huge achievement in his short career.

Yadav’s consistent form helped him to almost cement his place in the T20 World Cup squad to be held in Australia this year.

Two games are left on the West Indies tour. Team India has been looking good from the start. Despite losing the second match, Indian cricketers came on to the ground with more determination, which paid dividends in the end.

It seems all the cogs are functioning as per the wheel. India is now eyeing a series victory with just one match away, which is on the cards.
