‘Swabhimaan’ actor Arun Bali dies at 79 after suffering from rare muscular disease

Renowned television and Bollywood actor Arun Bali has said goodbye to the world on the day of his film's release. Arun Bali, 79, was ailing for a long time and was battling a rare disease called myasthenia gravis.

Mumbai: Big blow to entertainment industry as its veteran actor, who worked in many TV shows and many Bollywood films passes away. Well-known actor of TV and film industry Arun Bali dies. 79-year-old Arun Bali breathed his last in Mumbai. It is being said that he was ill for a long time and suffering from rare muscular disease.

Arun Bali had been ill for a long time. Due to the ill health of Arun Bali, he was admitted to the hospital a few months ago. Arun Bali was battling a rare disease called Myasthenia Gravis. Myasthenia Gravis is an autoimmune disease. This disease occurs due to communication failure between nerves and muscles.

Arun Bali was a seasoned artist of the industry, whose passing has made everyone emotional. The news of Arun Bali’s death has caused a wave of mourning in the entertainment industry. Many celebs have mourned the death of the veteran actor. Arun Bali was a cheerful person and artist. He knew how to mold himself well in any role.

At the beginning of the year, TV actress Nupur Alankar had informed about Arun Bali’s illness in an interview. Nupur was also a member of CINTAA at that time. Nupur while talking on the actor said that he is not able to speak properly. Seeing the deteriorating condition of his fellow artist, Nupur advised him to get admitted to the hospital. After this, Arun Bali’s daughter also while talking about his illness told that he has got autoimmune disease.

Arun Bali started his acting career in the 90s. He has done ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman’, ‘Khalnayak’, ‘Flowers and Embers’, ‘Aa Gale Lag Jaa’, ‘Satya’, ‘Hey Ram’, ‘Om Jai Jagdish’, ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’. He was an important part of many big films like ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Barfi’, ‘Airlift’, ‘Baaghi 2’, ‘Panipat’, ‘Kedarnath’ and ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’. Apart from films, he was also active in TV shows. 

Arun Bali has also worked in shows like ‘Phir Wahi Talaash’, ‘Dil Dariya’, ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’, ‘Mahabharat Katha’, ‘Shaktimaan’, ‘Kumkum’, ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ and ‘Swabhiman’. . But he got real popularity from Kumkum serial. In the show, he played the role of Kumkum i.e. Juhi Parmar’s grandfather.
