The Uttar Pradesh Police have confirmed the initiation of an investigation into the incident. This development comes in response to the emergence of a video depicting the event, which has surfaced online recently.

Several notable figures, including actors Swara Bhasker, Renuka Shahane, Swastika Mukherjee, and Prakash Raj, have expressed their reactions to a disturbing incident involving a private school teacher in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. The teacher allegedly instructed students to slap a classmate and reportedly made derogatory remarks about certain students’ faith and their parents’ involvement in their education.

Swara Bhasker’s Response:

Swara Bhasker took to her social media platform and stated, “Dear ‘shocked’ fellow Hindu, if you have voted for BJP, tried to be ‘objective’ or ‘neutral’ in the face of rank bigotry and hate, claimed to see ‘both sides,’ remained silent in the face of all that has happened in the last decade… then take your shock and stuff it up some place in the rear. You don’t get to virtue signal today! #ArrestTriptaTyagi #ArrestTriptaTayagi.”

Renuka Shahane’s Tweet:

Renuka Shahane also expressed her condemnation on social media, saying, “That vile teacher should be behind bars! Instead, she might just get a national teacher’s award for promoting national integration! Kafkaesque!! Cry, my beloved country (crying face emoji).”

Swastika Mukherjee and Prakash Raj’s Reactions:

Swastika Mukherjee shared a tweet that read, “A teacher!!! This is what it has come to. How are we going to recover from this?”

Prakash Raj shared a picture collage and tweeted, “The darkest side of HUMANITY we are getting into. Aren’t you worried #justasking.

The Incident and Police Involvement:

The Uttar Pradesh Police announced that they have initiated an inquiry into the incident. A video depicting the incident recently surfaced online. The incident allegedly occurred in a privately-run school located in Khubbapur village.

The teacher, identified as Tripta Tyagi, is seen in a 39-second video supposedly encouraging her students to slap another boy for struggling with multiplication tables.

NCPCR Chairperson’s Response:

Priyank Kanoongo, Chairperson of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), addressed the matter, urging people not to share the video of the child involved. He stated, “In Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar, the incident of a teacher getting a child beaten up by other children in the class has been reported. Taking cognizance, instructions are being issued for action. Everyone is requested not to share the video of the child, give information about such incidents by email, and not become a part of the crime by revealing the identity of the children.”

The incident has garnered attention and sparked conversations about the need for stringent actions against such behavior and the importance of protecting the well-being of students.
