Complaint and FIR: Swati Maliwal, an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP, lodged a complaint alleging she was assaulted by Arvind Kejriwal’s Personal Assistant (PA), Bibhav Kumar, at the Chief Minister’s residence on May 13.
Police Action: Following the complaint, Delhi Police registered an FIR and constituted multiple teams to locate and apprehend Bibhav Kumar.
Visit to Kumar’s Residence
A Delhi Police team visited Bibhav Kumar’s home on Thursday night to apprehend him but left after being denied entry as Kumar was not present.

The police are expected to revisit the Chief Minister’s residence on May 17 to record statements from Kejriwal, staff, and security personnel present during the alleged incident.
The National Commission for Women (NCW) has summoned Bibhav Kumar to appear before them regarding the allegations.
NCW Chief Rekha Sharma criticized Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, stating he appears to be siding with his PA and warned of potential action if Kejriwal is found complicit.
AAP’s Response
The Aam Aadmi Party released a video titled “Swati Ka Sach,” addressing the controversy surrounding Swati Maliwal’s allegations.
In response, Maliwal tweeted to counter the narrative presented in the video.
