Semi Finalist Teams: All the matches of Group 2 teams have been played in the Super 8 of T20 World Cup 2024, in which the teams of England and South Africa have been successful in making it to the semi-finals. Whereas jointly the hosts West Indies and USA are out of the tournament. At the same time, now everyone’s eyes are fixed on the last two matches of Group-1.

In fact, England had secured their place in the semi-finals by defeating USA by 10 wickets in their last Super 8 match in Barbados on Sunday. In this match, USA team was bundled out on the score of 115 runs in 18.5 overs. In response to which England achieved the target in 9.4 overs and won by 10 wickets. At the same time, on Monday (Indian time), the last match of Super 8 of Group-2 was played between the team of West Indies and South Africa. In which a tough competition was seen between the two teams.

In this match played in Antigua, the West Indies team, which came to bat first after losing the toss, could score only 135 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 8 wickets. But rain in the second innings and excellent bowling by West Indies made the match exciting. Overs and target were cut short due to rain. After which South Africa got the target of 123 runs in 17 overs. However, South Africa has entered the semi-finals by winning by 3 wickets.
