The increasing tension between Iran and Israel has started affecting Indian air travel as well. Air India flights today avoided Iranian airspace as tensions escalated in the Middle East after Iran warned of retaliatory strikes on Israel.
A passenger on a Delhi-Bengaluru flight slammed Air India after receiving a broken window seat despite paying additional money for it. The incident unfolded on Thursday, April 4 when the passenger acknowledged the broken seat, following which the airline enlisted the help of an engineer. The engineer, however, could not fix the broken seat, the passenger claimed.
Earlier, Tata-owned airline Vistara has canceled several flights due to crew shortage and its pilots are protesting against the airline's decision to merge with Air India, wage revision and rostering issues.
